 Nov 29 update

Well we have had quite a few weeks. Moved from San Antonio to Ft Gordon in Ga. Rushed here, rented a house in a couple of days, but of course our furniture went to storage and won't be delivered until the 2nd of Dec. So almost 2 weeks!!!! Then we find out that Gas cant be turned on until Nov 30th. Wow this move is so much fun, and right at Thanksgiving.

So I will be getting started on orders here in the next few days. I will be working to get out as many bags as possible, Thank you for your patience!!

Just wanted to send out an update on our move and my handbag status:)

We are set to move in the middle of Nov. I am running late on bags and probably will not be able to get all of the orders done before we leave.

I sent out emails to the last Custom orders that I recieved so please if you get one, please respond so I can get everything settled for you.

I will send you a refund if you would like one for your order so please let me know so I can get that taken care of.

My goal was to start fresh with our new move, I still hope to do that. I will no longer take unlimited orders every month. I will take a limited amount on the 1rst of the month so that those orders will go out in a more timely manner. I will also have a set number of Ready Made bags also:)

I am still working on your handbags as I hope to get as many sent out as possible before we leave.

Thank you for all of your patience.

Sept 2011

So we got orders again. We will be moving in Nov to Ga Ft. Gordon. Very happy to go, not so happy that we just moved to San Antonio, but that's ok. I haven't even hung up any pictures yet!!

So I will be closing custom orders soon so that I can make sure that every orders is done way before we leave. I would never want to go thru a pcs again with orders backed up. That was terrible.

I will continue to have Ready Made bags as often as possible (still have to pay the bills) lol

Once our move is complete, I will be able to have a short turn around time, be able to introduce new handbags and accessories, work on my website.

Thanks to all of you that had handbags come very late to you. I hope that you enjoy them as you get them. Please know that each is made with love and affection:) I treat every bag with care and take time to make sure they are perfect before it leaves my desk.

I will post more as time goes on and things change.

March 2011

Not taking orders at the moment, trying to get website fixed, bags caught up.

Update Aug 2010

So one of my wonderful Customers pointed out that I had not updated my "about me" page and boy was she right!! lol It has been a while

Here is the lasted update about what is going on with me and my family:)

Last April my daughter Elizabeth gave birth to a beautiful baby girl she named Sophia.

So now I am a proud "Nana" :)

Elizabeth was working with me this past year learning how to make bags and answering my emails (which was sooo awesome)

We were a great team and we made a ton of bags together.

Elizabeth decided to take a job in SanAntonio and move down early (we will be PCSing there in Jan)

Needless to say I miss them both bunches.

So I am trying to get my business back to being run by just one person.... me:)

I appreciate all of my wonderful customers and all of your patience with me during this change.

Well that is about it for me besides all of the normal family stuff that goes on with all of us. I am working hard everyday on these wonderful handbags to send out to you wonderful Ladies:)

Hugs to you all!!!!!

  Dec 2009

Hello and Merry Chirstmas to everyone!!! I just wanted to stop by to let everyone know what is going on with my bag making:)

I will be on vacation from Dec 20-27 to take a much needed break and spend some time with my family. I will be updating my site during that time and will be including some new styles to the collection as well as fixing some mistakes on my website. So I will be on vacation but still working....never ends:) lol

I am also going to be working on some diaper bags that are due out, since the babies are due now!!!

When work resumes for me I will at last have some extra help(for a little while, my hubby) and I will be working extra hard to get out tons of bags. I have had my daughter, Elizabeth, working for me for a while now also and she is getting wonderful at making the bags. She makes most of the Ready Made bags as well as all of the little girl bags.

I will soon be adding a page with more items associated with my Military families. This will be headed up by Elizabeth and will be featuring camo designs with Children and Babies in Mind. I am very excited about showing all of the really cool things she and I have come up with. But don't worry, she will still be helping me with getting your bags out to you:)

Thank you to all of you who have purchased these wonderful handbags. I hope they are bringing you joy and warms your heart each time you look at them. I love seeing pics of you with your bags, it keeps me going in this crazy job I have chosen! Making my fellow Military wives, fiances, girlfriends, moms, etc happy and feeling closer to your loved one is exactly my goal.

Happy Holidays !!!

Update:Oct 2009

Well I was so excited to see Oct coming around, it's my favorite time of year. The weather has been great and the 100 degree heat is gone. But something else came in it's place...The flu!!!

First Lindsey, my 5 year old, comes down with it. So we sit in a clinic full of sick, coughing people. Using tons of hand sanitizer, scrubbing germs out of my house, and washing hands constantly just didn't work for us.:( First my hubby (who just had the flu shot) came down with it. Then my son started to complain about his throat. I knew I was in big trouble!!!  So here I am on Sat Oct 10, my 4th day with this nasty virus. Today is the first day I can even get up and sit in my office chair. I can honestly say that this is one of the worst cases of the flu I have ever had in my life!!

I feel terrible too because I haven't been able to work on any orders for my customers  Frown

It is the first time in the 4 years that I have made my bags that I had to take more than a day off for being sick!!

So get your flu shots!!! The season started early and it is super contagious. Be heathly!

 Update: May 2009.

So my life lately is pretty much revolves around my sewing machine:) It is a good thing I love what I do.  I am late in my orders, they are taking longer than I expected. I am really sad about this but I am putting in lots of hours so eventually my ladies will get their bags.. Please, please, please, do NOT send me nasty emails. I would never be rude to anyone or treat them badly. I work for the Military wives out there and do this out of love. I really don't make the money that people think I do. Believe me, I would make more doing something else. But when I get wonderful phone calls, and emails from ladies and their hubby's expressing how much they appreciate what I do , then it makes me keep it up.

My life is crazy right now also. My daughter is graduating high school and already got an apartment with a girlfriend so she is really happy and doing well.

My son will be a junior next year and is girl crazy and wants a car!!!

My little girl who is 5 is just finishing pre-k (where does the time go?) Now it is time to register her for kindegarten:(

My hubby is still teaching Army, Navy, and Airforce guys and girls how to repair medical and X-ray equipment. Long hours so of course he is always tired, but what else is new. We will be moving next year to Ft Sam Houston in SanAntionio, so I am excited about moving back there since there is so much to do there!!!

Chow for now! Off to sew:)

Update: Aug 2008

I am a very busy Army wife, mother, and owner of this wonderful business of making handbags for very special ladies.  Thank you so much for your support !

GOOD NEWS!  I am now working full time, with regular hours, Mon-Fri 8-5.  I have moved my "studio" to a bigger place, and now can devote more time to making handbags, purses, and diaper bags for my customers.   I will be adding regular bags to my store also.

I will still be taking custom orders, however I will only be able to take a limited amount every month.

I would love to welcome Patti:) She will be helping me make these awesome bags, I am so happy to be working with her. I would also like to welcome my mother Elizabeth, who will be making childrens purses, pet clothes, and other items for our "kids".  I will have her page up and running soon:)
